Girlfriend’s Guilt-Free Gumbo


  • 1 package of Miracle Noodle Shirataki Rice, 8-Ounce, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 to 2 cups chopped tomatoes. For convenience, I use Pomi Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Better Beans Skillet Refried Red Beans
  • 8 oz. crab, lobster, shrimp, or seafood of your choice, cubed into bite-size pieces
  • Creole seasoning to taste (I like Tony Tony Chachere’s Original Creole Seasoning)


  1. Sauté the rice, celery, and onions over high heat until the celery is soft and most of the water has evaporated from the rice.
  1. Add the tomatoes, beans, and seafood.
  1. Continue cooking on medium heat for 5 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  1. Season and serve.
