food alliance certified black and
pinto beans come from the
Washington State Central Valley.
Our organic red beans from the
Idaho Magic Valley.  Our cold press
safflower oil comes from central
Oregon.  We use Northwest produce such as Oregon onions.

Skillet Refried Red Beans - mild heat

Our skillet beans are not just boiled but sautéed to give the rich caramelized flavor of authentic refried beans.

Skillet Refried Black Beans - medium heat

Washington State Food Allicance Certified Black Beans sautéed in Central Oregon Safflower Oil and Spices.  Our Black Refried Beans offer the same great flavor as the Red but with more heat (both jalapenos and serrano peppers!).

Cuban Style Black Beans

Black beans are the favorite bean of the Caribbean and Central America.  Unlike in Mexico they do not mash or refry the beans.  They make whole black beans called a Potaje de Frijoles Negros. Our Potaje de Frijoles Negros starts with a soffritto of Poblano Green Pepper, Onion and Safflower Oil, Garlic, Coriander, Oregano and is finsihed with White Wine Vinegar and Lime Juice for rich authentic flavor.

Three Sisters Chili

Our Three Sisters Chili is named for the three companion plants of native American agriculture.   This delicious family style chili is made from pinto and black beans, hominy corn, squash, tomatoes, onion, bell pepper, celery, orange juice, safflower oil, spices and a touch of chipoltle.
